the training & Assessments required by the Industry.

As a small company we understand the pressures on time and availability that training can have on a company, so we work around the needs and requirements that you require.
The Trainer will work with the company and plan the training to work around the demands
of the business and work with the employer to make sure there is minimal disruption to the pressures of deadlines.
The Contractors Mechanical Plant Engineers (CMPE) Association was founded in 1957, the members having a common interest in the operation, ownership, maintenance, repair and improvement of the contracts plant and machinery. The objectives of the Association are to broaden the scope of knowledge of such plant and its application, by placing the corporate knowledge of members at the disposal of any section of the industry.
Mini Digger
Used for jobs where space is an issue, some of these can fit through a doorway or entry for those jobs in the back garden where access is an issue.
Streetwork / Utility Works – Adequate training should be undertaken to make sure you comply with Health & Safety Regulations. Training will include Theory Paper, Pre-use check, bucket changing on Manual, Semi & Fully Automatic hitch systems trench digging and back filling, stock pilling and vehicle loading/unloading, including safe egress too and from the place of work.
At the end of the training you will receive a photo card which is valid for five years listing all the machines that you have specifically been trained to use.
Tracked Excavator
For the bigger jobs where access is not as much of an issue. We train anyone up to a 10 ton machine. Training includes theory paper, Pre-use check, bucket changing on Manual, Semi & Fully Automatic hitch systems trench digging and back filling, stock pilling and vehicle loading/unloading including safe egress to and from the place of work. At the end of the training you will receive a photo card which is valid for five years listing all the machines that you have specifically been trained to use.
Articulated Dumper Truck
Those working in the construction sector and needing to operate articulated dump trucks as part of their job role. Training teaches delegates about the safe operation of the trucks so they can work effectively and avoid accidents. This will ensure that all staff are performing to the legally required standards.
Our training is delivered in-house and we offer courses at both novice and experienced level with refreshers also available. At the end of the training you will receive a photo card which is valid for five years listing all the machines that you have specifically been trained to use.
Ride on Roller
A typical novice course would include both theoretical and practical training such as, pre start and running checks on machine, setting the roller for site travel, travelling over differing types of terrain, manoeuvring, compacting with different materials and edges, and transported loading and unloading procedures. At the end of the training you will receive a photo card which is valid for five years listing all the machines that you have specifically been trained to use.
CAT & Genny (1 Day – Course)
Safe working environments are a fundamental right and essential for all workers. Cat & Genny training provides individuals with a working understanding and knowledge of using cable avoidance tools and signal generators on-site, and their importance. The course equips you with the competency to avoid danger from underground services to HSG47 standards.
This CAT & Genny Awareness training course is for anyone operating cat and genny equipment, and those involved in commissioning, planning, managing, and carrying out work on or near underground services. It educates you about the dangers that exist when working in these areas, and how to reduce the risk to health and safety, and the indirect results of damage to the services.
At the end of the training you will receive a photo card which is valid for five years listing all the machines that you have specifically been trained to use.
Abrasive Wheels (1/2 Day Course)
The aim of the Abrasive Wheels training course is to provide a thorough understanding of the safety around using Abrasive Wheels so safe working practices can be adopted in the workplace.
At the end of the training you will receive a photo card which is valid for five years listing all the machines that you have specifically been trained to use.
